Ontario’s Environmental Commissioner, Gord Miller, has released his latest report, Biodiversity: A Nation’s Commitment, an Obligation for Ontario. In it, he says that it is the provinces’ responsibility to implement the agreements made by Canada in Nagoya in 2010, but Ontario’s biodiversity strategy expired that year and hasn’t been updated. http://www.eco.on.ca/

Mountsberg Conservation Area is hosting the Royal Ontario Museum’s travelling Northern Owls exhibit from January 1 to February 23, 2012. A guided tour of this spectacular display will be included with all Owl Prowl evenings on Jan. 13, 14, 27, and 28.
