Volunteer Opportunities

HEN posts our own volunteer opportunities as well as opportunities available with our member groups throughout Halton. HEN has ongoing postings for Website Assistants and Events Assistants. Many of our member groups' opportunities involve plantings, waste management, or event assistance. Scroll down to see the postings below, and check our weekly bulletin for events marked "V" and current postings.

See also the Volunteer Halton website for a wide range of volunteer opportunties in Halton. To submit a volunteer opportunity, contact us at hen.admin@gmail.com.

Potential HEN Volunteers: If you have interest in volunteering with HEN, please complete our online volunteer application. We will keep your application on file and contact you when we have a suitable opening.

Applicants for HEN Board of Directors and Advisors: Halton Environmental Network is interested in qualified applicants who can meet once a month to serve as a Director. In addition, HEN would like to engage advisors for Board subcommittees. Subcommittees will meet in person or work by email to accomplish their objectives. Duties vary but key responsibility is to ensure best practices while helping HEN achieve both its objectives and potential. If you are interested, please see our Board member job description for more information and complete our online Board members and Advisors application.
