The Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC) Bikefest is a daylong community celebration of bicycles and all things bicycle related. The Burlington event will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Spencer Smith Park. The event features activities for cyclists of all skill levels, including:

  • bike corral
  • bike decorating for kids
  • bike drop-off for charity (donation)
  • entertainment
  • face painting for kids
  • family bike ride (leaves at 10:00am)
  • expert bike ride (leaves at 9:00am)
  • bike swap
  • self-guided cycling treasure hunt
