HEN Executive Director wins Community Spirit Award

The Town of Oakville's Community Spirit Awards were given out at a ceremony on Wednesday, June 22, 2011. This year's recipient of the Environmental Award was HEN's Executive Director, Lisa Seiler. Lisa is honoured to join previous recipients in this category: Liz Benneian, President of Oakvillegreen, in 2009 and Diane Burton, co-founder of Friends of Glenorchy, in 2010. Prior to the establishment of the environmental category, Oakville Sustainable Food Partnership co-founder Susan Curran was the recipient of the individual award in 2008.
