GTA West corridor through North Halton

The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) is planning to construct a new highway to join highway 400 with the 401/407 interchange, travelling through Brampton and HaltonHills, then widening highway 401 to 12 lanes west of there from Trafalgar Road to Hwy. 25.

Public meetings were held in Georgetown and Milton in mid-June. Comments may be sent to the MTO. The latest project documents are posted at http://www.gta-west.com/consultation.html; scroll down to Public Information Centre #5.
