Burlington celebrates Bike to Work Day

On Monday, May 28, 2012, Smart Commute Halton, the City of Burlington and the Burlington Chamber of Commerce celebrated Bike to Work Day with the First Annual City-Wide Bike to Work Day Breakfast. Almost 75 cyclists from across Burlington came together to celebrate cycling and raise awareness of cycling as a healthy, practical and fun way to travel to work or school.
Bike to Work Day is an annual Smart Commute event that takes place across Halton Region and the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. Cyclists at the inaugural event enjoyed breakfast, community displays, free bike tune-ups and great prizes.
