HEN receives major grant from Ontario Trillium Foundation

We are thrilled to announce that we are the recipients of a core funding grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation. The grant is for a total of $170,000 over three years (approximately $55,000 per year), and will contribute to rent, salaries, program costs, and administrative expenses.

Through the grant, networking capacity amongst HEN’s member groups will be enhanced, and outreach beyond the environmental sector will be increased. HEN’s mission of making environmental connections in Halton will include faith communities, cultural groups, and businesses, resulting in more engagement in environmental initiatives across Halton.

We are very lucky at HEN that our provincial government, through the Ontario Trillium Foundation, strongly supports the non-profit sector, including environmental non-profit groups. Many, many thanks to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for entrusting us with these funds.
