North American Partnership for Environment Community Action has approved funding for Green Communities Canada's project, Depave Paradise. 

The project involves ripping up concrete and asphalt and replacing it with soil and vegetaion. The six participating communities include Toronto, Hamilton, and Kitchener-Waterloo.
