FORCE stops quarry

FORCE has learned that the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing has issued a Ministerial Zoning Order, effectively freezing out St. Marys Cement’s plans for a proposed quarry in Northeast Flamborough, part of the City of Hamilton just west of the Halton border. P.O.W.E.R. receives OTF grant

HEN congratulates P.O.W.E.R. on receiving a significant grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation in the latest grant round. P.O.W.E.R. will receive $132,000 over three years for a managing director and space rental in order to support the organization's day-to-day operation, growth strategy and projects and collaborations that enhance community sustainability.
